Association of Historians of Antiquity awards prize to prof. Dyczek

Just before his departure for Albania, our director Professor Piotr Dyczek met with a great surprise and a great distinction. The Association of Historians of Antiquity decided to award him a prize for the popularization of knowledge of antiquity.

The ceremony took place on 28 May in the prestigious Columned Hall of the Faculty of History at Warsaw University. As our director could not attend in person, he sent his thanks online. The award was received on behalf of Prof. P. Dyczek by Prof. Renata Ciołek, who has been involved in the Centre’s research for many years.
